Crochet Doll Free Pattern

You will need:

Pink and White yarn, yellow yarn for hair, crochet hook, safety eyes, stuffing, yarn needle.

I used medium acrylic yarn, 3 mm crochet hook and 10 mm safety eyes

Stitches used:

sc - single crochet

inc - increase: 2 sc in one sc

dec - decrease: sc 2 sc together

Starting with legs:

With pink:

Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Round 2: (inc, sc in next 2) X 2 times (8)

Rounds 3- 5: sc in 8 sc (8)

Change color to white

Round 6: Dec, sc in next 6 (7)

Rounds 7-13: sc in 7 (7)

Fasten off

Make second leg, but do not cut the yarn.

Round 14: Chain 2, insert hook in second leg, sc around - 7 sc , sc in next 2 chains, sc in next 7, sc in next 2 chains (on the opposite side) (18)

Rounds 15-16: sc in 18 (18)

Change color to pink.

How to Change Colors in Crochet: begin the last stitch of your current color but STOP before doing the last yarn over, grab a loop of your new color and pull through the 2 loops remaining on your hook to nish the stitch.

Round 17: in front loops only! Sc in 18 sc (18)

Continue in both loops:

Rounds 18 and 19: sc in 18 sc (18)

Round 20: dec, sc in next 16 sc (17)

Round 21: sc in 17 sc (17)

Round 22: dec, sc in next 15 sc (16)

Round 23: sc in 16 sc (16)

Round 24: dec, sc in next 14 sc (15)

Round 25: sc in next 6 sc, dec, sc in next 5 sc, dec (13)

Round 26: sc in next 11 sc, dec (12)

Stuff your toy with stuffing

Head

Change color to white

Round 27: Sc in next 12 sc (12)

Round 28: (inc) X 6 times (24)

Round 29: (inc, sc in next 3 sc ) X 6 times (30)

Round 30: (inc, sc in next 4 sc) X 6 times (36)

Rounds 31-37: sc in next 36 sc (36)

Attach eyes and change color to yellow. For hair I used thinner yarn, so I continued to crochet with 2 strands of yellow yarn.

Round 38: (sc in next 4 sc, dec) X 6 times (30)

Round 39: (sc in next 3, dec) X 6 times (24)

Round 40: (sc in next 2, dec) X 6 times (18)

Round 41: (sc in next sc, dec) X 6 times (12)

stuff with stuffing.

Round 42: decrease 6 times (6)

Close the hole by weaving in the yarn and pulling tight.

Arms (make 2):

Round 1: 6 sc in magic ring (6)

Rounds 2-11: sc in next 6 sc (6)

With white yarn embroider nose, ears and smile. Sew arms on the body.

Skirt

Rejoin pink yarn in back loops of round 17.

Round 1: Sc in next 18 sc around (in back loops of round 17) (18)

Round 2: 2 sc in each sc (36)

Round 3: (Sc in next sc, chain 3, sc in next sc) around

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Hair

With yellow

Choose something to wind your yarn around (this will be the length of hair). Wind yarn around and cut it at the bottom.

Attach to head: insert crochet hook, take the piece of yarn folded in half, pull through the stitch, take the ends of two pieces of yarn and push them through the loop made by folding the two pieces in half. Pull on the free ends. Attach pieces of yarn around the head and in the center line.
